A Modular UX System for Award Platforms

This project was more than just an interface – I had the chance to design an entire system that supports every step of an award process: from submission and jury voting to backend administration.

I was involved early on in the conceptual phase, built a flexible design system in Figma, and created all UX designs and prototypes independently. What mattered most to me was making the experience not only beautiful, but truly meaningful – so we worked closely with future users to understand their needs and translate them into intuitive solutions.

The implementation was a collaborative effort with both frontend and backend developers, ensuring that design and functionality evolved hand in hand. Thanks to Figma Variables, the system can easily be adapted to fit the branding and structure of different awards.

This short clickthrough shows the submission flow – from uploading your project to hitting “submit.”
Simple, smooth, and built to keep things stress-free.

Here are a few selected screens from the jury process of the awards platform.
They showcase how jurors review entries, leave comments, and assign their final votes – all within a streamlined, intuitive interface.

Jurors follow the presentations in real time and use the platform to leave comments, take notes, and assign their rankings. Once all presentations are complete, they assign 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place — directly in the platform.

Last but not least, here are a few selected screens from the admin section of the awards platform.
They highlight how organizers manage submissions, track progress across categories, and coordinate jury activities – all in one clear, efficient workspace.
