An Online Shop for Thoughtful Gift Giving
Not your average online store – and definitely not your average gifts. BESONDERS Hamburg offers lovingly curated gift sets filled with sustainable, local treasures – and lets customers add their own personal twist with thoughtful add-ons.
For this project, I created a shop experience that feels just as warm and carefully composed as the sets themselves. The design invites users to browse, smile, and discover – with playful visuals, clear structure, and a sprinkle of surprise.
While not all of my design proposals made it into the final live version, the core idea remains – a digital space where giving feels joyful from the very first click.
One of the early product page concepts – brighter, more structured, and with a clearer box layout. It was later set aside when we shifted towards a darker, more fluid design direction.
The dark background is a photo of the stone table from the BESONDERS store – a tactile base that makes the colorful products pop and anchors the design in the brand’s real-world identity.
