Tracking the Chaos of Deutsche Bahn

We all know the cliché: Deutsche Bahn is never on time.
And honestly? It’s true. But instead of getting annoyed every time a train was late, cancelled, rerouted or “regrettably delayed due to operational reasons,” I decided to make a game out of it.
So, over several weeks, I tracked every single train journey I took:
Delays
Missed connections
Spontaneous platform changes
Surprise replacements
For each ride, I drew a little train car by hand — and turned every complication, every bizarre announcement, every “we thank you for your understanding” into graffiti sprayed across the wagon.
The result? A personal, illustrated archive of railway chaos — and a tribute to the absurd poetry of public transport.
